All modern people have two selves, one of which everyone tries to hide deep in their hearts for the rest of their lives.
It is fascinating and sometimes heartbreaking to draw the ego deep inside a human being on the canvas, rather than the ego showed to people daily.

All modern people have such wounds in their hearts and want to heal them in their own way.

I am working on transforming childhood trauma or conflicts from relationships with family and colleagues into artistic sensibility and reborn as a beautiful language of art on canvas.

가끔 하고 싶은 많은 말들과 생각들이 뒤엉켜 어떤 표정을 해야 할지 어떤 길을 가고 있는지 알 수 없는 기분이 들 때가 있다. 마치 수풀 속을 헤매는 것처럼...

삶이란 앞에 무엇이 있을지 지나온 등 뒤 풍경은 어떠했는지 우리는 정확히 알 수 없다.

하지만 가끔 걸음을 멈추고 보면 그 수풀 속은 제멋대로 엉켜있고 무성의해 보여도 자세히 들여다보면 풀과 꽃, 나무들이 제각각의 색과 향기를 뽐내며 그 자리를 지키고 있다.

그리고 그 자리를 지나 온갖 향기와 색이 덧칠해 나라는 존재가 되어 간다는 사실을 깨달았을 때 약간의 위로가 되었다. 이런 유약한 나의 감정들은 비정형적 꽃과 나무 풀, 소녀로 표현된다. 그것들은 작업을 통해 현실로 보여주며 여전히 헤매고 있을 나와 누군가에게 위안이 되었으면 한다.
